The Himba (nomads in Namibia) use beads to make decoration using an attractive technique and so make striking arm, foot and neck bands. With this kit three necklaces can be made as illustrated: first a simple coloured string, then one with more strands and as the crowning achievement an attractive choker.
Contents : circa 100 gm coloured glass beads, nylon thread, cord as basis for the choker, 3 screw fasteners, bead needle and instructions.
From 6 years, develops the fine motor coordination.
