Pan pipes are known since ancient times and were played in a number of different cultures. Today they are commonly seen played by South American street musicians, they were however traditionally used for centuries in China and Europe, especially by goat and sheep herders. This pan pipe is styled on a American Indian design using reeds, yarn and leather.The finished pipes are 20 x 20 cm and have 10 tones.
