The free runner is a Diabolo with a ball bearing, which blocks in one direction. Due to the bearing the Diabolo can be whipped on to high speeds, so enabling the performance of a number of tricks sequentially as well as making horizontal tricks and play possible. With its special axle the Diabolo runs smoothly, making more complicated manoeuvres easier and enabling the beginner to learn to deal with balancing the Diabolo. The covers for the axle are different coloured to enable the performer to remember in which direction the Diabolo runs free . The Diabolo world champion Ryo Yabe performs with this Diabolo.
