Who we are

After a classic start in a garage 30 years ago, dieters holzspielzeug is now an established producer of toys. The family Stein and the rest of the team are always busy designing new products or looking out for interesting items to include in our wholesale range. We are committed to the concept that our products should be both educational and of a high quality. Our aim is that through the medium of playing, children should be able to understand and evaluate the world for themselves. Our contribution to this aim is based on the idea that craft work helps to discover and comprehend the world in many ways, for instance learning about the traditions, skills and knowledge that mankind has built up over time, as well as introducing the phenomena behind modern scientific discoveries.

Outdoor products awaken interest in nature and the urge to experiment.
Magic Tricks develop concentration, verbal skills and performing alone.
Juggling encourages pleasure in movement and in this way also acts as a stimulus in developing motor skills. This in itself has been shown to positively influence intellectual development - besides giving rise to a good sense of the body itself.
Even in the range Deko-Design there are thought processes provoked and phenomena to discuss.

We are always looking for new or interesting and unusual items for our programme. In 2009 we found:

Sundia Diabolos and Myachis and we found that marbels and yo-yos were in.

In 2006 we took over  webs-design®  from R.O. Weber and we endeavour to carry on his firm in the same spirit as he did for so many years.
